In terms of food to call Hong Kong outstanding would be a euphemistic
injustice. The range of cuisine available is in the same league as New

York,
San Francisco or London.

London perhaps. Both being pretty weak. You can get better food here in

L.A.
than you can in Hong Kong. San Fransisco and New York blow Hong Kong away

for
food. But really, if food is what you want go to New Orleans or Santa Fe

or
Belgium.

Actually, London really has transformed in the last 10 years from a grotty,
grimy European capital to a truly cosmoplitan city, replete with world-class
shopping and eating. I would definite put it in the same league as SF and
NYC.

I can't say that I have sampled everything London has to offer within the past
10 years. It is obviously better but still not in the same league as New York
or San Fransisco to my taste buds.

I am not too sure about New Orleans - the cuisine, though good, is not very
eclectic.

I'm not sure how one gets any more eclectic than two forms of indigenous styls
of food in one area, both of which are unlike any cuisine anywhere else on
earth. But the bottom line for me is taste. For me nothing comes close to New
Orleans. I often say they have the second best food in the world. Who has the
best? New Orleans. I give them the 2 top spots. It's that good.

I've never been to Santa Fe, so I will not comment. But Belgium? I
know they have fancy beers and expensive chocolates, but food???

It seems to be a well kept secret but yes, the food there is awsome. But hey,
it is truly a matter of taste. By the way, I think the chocolates in Belgium
are the best but not the most expensive. In fact my favorite chocolates are a
bargain. But again, taste.

A truly wonderful place.

I found it a mixed bag. To each his own.
