Given his current system, a $5 AM/FM radio might be a worthwhile upgrade. :-) You mean the system you haven't heard but already know how it sounds? I have no idea how it sounds, but I know it isn't worth listening to. I guess you missed that the first time. Based on your logic, a banana might sound better than a Volvo. Based on my logic, I know I don't need to listen to a banana or a Volvo to know they're not worth listening to. You should use that as your sig line. It makes about as much sense as anything else you've said. Boon |

It makes about as much sense as anything else you've said. Which is, to most people, pretty good sense. My mental image of Marc Phillips hooking a banana up to his much-vaunted high end audio system of the week to hear what the banana sounds like is pretty funny! Of course it is the image of Marc that provides most of the humor, a morbidly fat man in sweats trying to do anything useful, without covering everything in his trailer with his smelly prespiration. And you call me delusional! Boon |

And you call me delusional! Thanks Marc for showing that you don't know what delusional is. That explains an awful lot and I do mean awful lot. You know, I've looked at your posts from the last few days, and all I can think about is how easily you've rolled over and self-destructed this time. Your only real weapon, it seems, is trying to keep me around by baiting me about my exit strategy. Usually, my exit strategy is something like this...not a lot is happening around here, I get bored, I leave. Somehow, in your mind you equate this to "winning." It comes down to this, Arny. Once again, you have lost argument after argument against me, so you make up things about me, absolute lies, and try to engage me that way. It's symptomatic of your need for attention. You may squawk when I leave, but in reality, it's you begging me to stay around, because I give you attention. Howard was the same way, except that he was smart enough to leave when his ass got kicked. You, however, stay, day after day, week after week, year after year, and as you approach your second decade of exercising your masochistic tendencies on Usenet, it becomes more painfully obvious that you're a lost soul, a man who is no longer a man, but a ghost. So, do you really want me to hang around and say, "Prove that I'm trailer trash!"? I mean, really? I really think it's a waste of my time. I beat you into submission years ago, and I know it's not the first time I've used this analogy, but you really are the knight in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" who has his arms and legs cut off and still wants to fight. Every year you spend here, Arny, you get dumber. You get more desperate. You get more pathetic. And it's not like I have to prove it to anyone. Everyone here knows. People here almost tolerate you now. They know you'll never go away, so they humor you, they tease you, or they ignore you. But there isn't a single person here who feels compelled to engage in the "debating trade" with you. Once in a while a newbie flutters by like a insect caught in a spider's web. They always seem to get out rather easily, though. This is your life, though. You're here for good. Trapped. You'll never get out. Good for you! You've succeeded! Boon |

Usually, my exit strategy is something like this...not a lot is happening around here, I get bored, I leave. Somehow, in your mind you equate this to "winning." Boy there's a lot of delusion and paranoia in that paragraph. In reality, I could care if you stay or go. It comes down to this, Arny. Once again, you have lost argument after argument against me, so you make up things about me, absolute lies, and try to engage me that way. I fail to recall where you ever said anything substantial enough to be called an argument. I get a feeling that you are like those guys who go around to stop lights, rev their engines, burn out, and then brag about all the drag races they won. Is that a problem with WRX owners? It's symptomatic of your need for attention. As if your post right here isn't a big plea for my attention? You may squawk when I leave, but in reality, it's you begging me to stay around, because I give you attention. Hmm, seems like the number of cogent replies from you have been about negligable. Howard was the same way, except that he was smart enough to leave when his ass got kicked. That has a kind of neat ring to it, Marc. Save it up, maybe polish it a bit and see if it fits into your next Vinyl Idiocy web article. snip remaining hot air |
