If Arnie is prepared to spend years here on Usenet defending indefensible positions, pretending he's not as disliked as he clearly is, and generally slashing and burning all order and logic, what do you suppose a psychologist is likely to achieve? Pretending I'm not disliked as I clearly am? LOL! Generally slashing and burning all order and logic on RAO? LOL! There ain't nuttin' there among you folks to burn. Paul, you have to be one of the most delusional people I know. Either that or a habitual writer of fantasy. Your most obviouis fantasy is your continual representation that you have even half a brain. Go play with Middius and Jenn. The three of you make a nice party. |

Pretending I'm not disliked as I clearly am? LOL! I hear laughter, Arnie, but I don't see a rational rebuttal. Generally slashing and burning all order and logic on RAO? LOL! There's that laughter again. You know what they say about people who continually laugh for no apparent reason. There ain't nuttin' there among you folks to burn. Paul, you have to be one of the most delusional people I know. That's only because you don't know yourself, which is exactly what I said. Either that or a habitual writer of fantasy. Yes, I do like to write fiction. On this occasion, however, I was sticking to the facts. Your most obviouis fantasy is your continual representation that you have even half a brain. How does one "represent" intelligence? Either it's there or it's not, and if it's not the evidence will soon mount. I don't believe you're unintelligent--not for a moment. I greatly envy your technical knowledge and skills. But you have a personality problem involving self-esteem and self-awareness, which are often intertwined, and it would be wise if, in the midst of your rabid denials, you considered the possibility that all those people who keep saying "Get help, Arnie" could just have a point. It's not a condemnation, you know. People are concerned. Go play with Middius and Jenn. The three of you make a nice party. I don't think either of them would like me to play with them, but I do see what you mean. |

It's not a condemnation, you know. No, but it is a massive long wordy sentence, which exposes quite a bit about how your mind fails to work properly, Paul. People are concerned. I wish all the *doctors* around here would fix themselves, first. |

What does that say about your mind? People are concerned. I wish all the *doctors* around here would fix themselves, first. We need you to get started first, since you've got further to go. |

What happened to Marc, Howard, Graham or me, Arny? Did you notice you've made some new enemies last week? You manage to even alienate people who largely agreed with you in the past. Graham Stevenson, Stewart Pinkerton, Howard Ferstler, Jim Johnston, Dick Pierce, John Feng, Michael McKelvy, they all accepted and respected my approach to hobby audio, and they all turned away fro you as a person. You're the only one raging against my preference, calling me names like tube- and vinyl bigot. Way to go, Arny! Borgicide has never been a scenario embraced by the Resistance. Rather, we try to raise the Beast's self-awareness just enough for it to realize how truly horrible its existence is. If we can achieve that goal, only a small shove will be needed to induce the Krooborg to escape its artificially enhanced, but still mortal, existence. -- "Christians have to ... work to make the world as loving, just, and supportive as is possible."
