According to a recent AES paper, an ABX comparator system using Coby
headphones was shown to provide statistically equivalent
discrimination between "high end" amplifiers equivalent to comparator
designs based on more expensive technology. It is hoped that the
reduced cost of ABX comparators based on this design will popularize
