Default How do I remove the stock radio from a 2004 Ford Freestar?

MOSFET Wrote:
I recently worked on a 1992 Ford F-250 truck and had to remove the stock
HU.
For that one I had to buy these two metal U-shaped tools that attach on
each
side of the radio and pull it out. This tool is called something like
Ford
radio removal device and is available at Walmart (that's where I
bought
mine). You may want to check and see if such a tool is necessary for
your
type of HU.

I have used a metal coat hanger to take out factory Ford units like
that.

Bend both into a U shape.

I like to save money.
