![]() MOSFET Wrote: I recently worked on a 1992 Ford F-250 truck and had to remove the stock HU. For that one I had to buy these two metal U-shaped tools that attach on each side of the radio and pull it out. This tool is called something like Ford radio removal device and is available at Walmart (that's where I bought mine). You may want to check and see if such a tool is necessary for your type of HU. MOSFET I have used a metal coat hanger to take out factory Ford units like that. Bend both into a U shape. I like to save money. ![]() -- X-OvrDistortion |
