A negative voltage should make the speaker move backwards. If this is what's going on, the absolute phase (polarity) is correct. If a positive voltage makes the speaker move backwards, the absolute phase is reversed. You probably won't be able to hear the difference as long as both speakers are wired the same way. But if one moves forward while the other moves backward, the stereo image will sound weird and indistinct. //Walt |
