Default Mastering engineer needed.

Hi group,

My name is Beau, I'm currently mix engineer for a UK hip-hop group work
called 'Phoenix Quarter' who are currently making their debut album.

I am currently putting the finishing touches to some tracks which will be
used for a four track promo which needs to be finished ideally by the end of
the month.

I am looking for a mastering engineer who's comfortable with hip-hop and
modern music. I say 'modern' as we are looking for that overcompressed
"phat" sound, if you think that squarish waveforms are overcompressed crap
then this is certainly not the job for you!

This is a good opportunity, if I find someone who does a really good job
then theres 18 tracks on the album which will all need to be mastered, fully
credited.

This is a fairly budget project, fee's can be discussed, although I know
there are a few of you out there who are still building a portfolio and want
to get your name on a few projects. This would be good for you, the CD will
hit the UK national market with a possibility of distribution in Europe
depending on the UK release.

If you're interested, have any sample work or links you can send me, or if
you can demo a master for me from one of our mixes, please email me or add
me on msn messenger.

Regards!

Beau

I am looking for a mastering engineer

Send me a private email. I've worked on recordings with Dre and others, and
I'll do a great job on your CD. It'll be phatter and louder than anybody
else, I guarantee you.

Hi Beau -

Firstly, good luck with the release!

Regarding mastering, I have just had an album I co-wrote, recorded and produced mastered by Brian "Big Bass" Gardner. It sounds incredible and wasn't *that* expensive.

It was so worth it to get the final result.

Whoever you go with, **don't** give it to someone who isnt right into Hip Hop!!

Finding the right mastering guy is crucial, so do it right!!

All the best,

Geoff
