Default Shure SM90 for kick drum

Hi all;

I was thinking of using a large condenser mic along with my D112 but I see a
used Shure SM90 for sale in my area. Has anyone used this mic before? What
are your experiences? I see it's similar to the SM91a (possibly an earlier
version??). The response is a little different in the high end, but through
the mid and low end it seems pretty much flat like the SM91a.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks;
Steve-o
