All part of the "talk radio culture", IMO. I don't see the link to talk radio... which, minimally has to be considered moderated. I've noticed that in the past few years as "abrasive" hosts have become more popular, In talk radio? Who specifically are you thinking of? Hannity, Limbaugh... the quality of public debate has become more "idiotic". Could be a chicken/egg thing. I think that content has become fragmented and a bit of a conflict has surfaced between MSM and talk radio and bloggers. I don't think that creates an idiotic debate... to the contrary, it allows for representation of more diverse opinions.
