Not to mention that TWAIN is ONE standard and WDM, ASIO, Core Audio are THREE, so it is three times more expensive to support "all of the above". (when's the last time you read a post from someone who couldn't get Sound Forge to play through his sound card?). I never even heard of Sound Forge (I had to google it).
