Hi folks:

On e-bay: Item # 382545175. It's an Electro-Voice RE15; note the missing
plastic side grill. Note the seller not mention it. The same guy is selling
a 660 with "scratched-out engraving" on the side -- don't burn your fingers!

You ate the first digit of the item#, it's 7382545175, just lettin' ya
know... and the mics do look beat up (other mic is 7382722469).

I've noticed a flood of bogus auctions for expensive items lately. OK, it's
nothing new, but three such attempts with RADAR setups in a single day, for
example?! One or three-day auctions with the pictures and item descriptions
copied from recent or even current legitimate auctions, sellers with zero
feedback, registered mostly in China, but U.S. too, low starting prices with
no reserve. It looks ridiculous now, but if it mutates....
