Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out the best method of sending audio signals between 3 locations in my house. Here's the setup that I'm trying to link up: a) 1 Receiver/Amp downstairs in Living Room. b) 1 Receiver/Amp downstairs in Family room approximately 50' from 'a' c) 1 Computer with Audio card upstairs approximately 30' from 'a' and 20' from 'b'. What I would mainly like to accomplish is to be able to send audio from a to b & c, and to also be able to send from c to a & b. Not so concerned about sending from b, but if that was available for minimal extra cost it would be icing on the cake. So, I've been considering FM transmitter, 2.4 ghz wireless and hard wiring. If I hardwire, I will probably have to wire along outside of house if that makes any difference. So, any suggestions/advice on the pros/cons of each method and or any suggested hardware? Not sure on the best wiring and connection method for a hardwire option and also haven't really investigated what's out there for fm transmitters/wireless yet. I did see earlier threads mention the Radio Shack and Jensen 2.4 ghz wireless a/v units...anybody have any direct experience with these or other similar devices? Any input greatly appreciated. -Chef Juke "EVERYbody Eats When They Come To MY House!" www.chefjuke.com |
