Hi,
I have purchased a pair of BM15s second hand which were sold as seen. I tested them and neither tweeter is working in either cab, although the woofers are fine. Could someone please advise the best way to proceed, how can I check to see if the problem is due to the tweeters being blown, or if is is something to do with the crossover, possibly an internal protection fuse? Any help or info on what may be the problem would be most appreciated. Many thanks in advance, Jon ps I have been quoted £130+VAT per tweeter, if I do need to replace them does anyone know anywhere cheaper or if it's is possible to repair them? Thanks |

If the ohmmeter shows them open, toss them out. If they measure a couple ohms across, start looking at the crossover. Could be a fuse on it, could be a cracked resistor. The ohmmeter will tell you what you need to know. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |

Thanks Scott, just got to dig out my multimeter, and probably get a
battery for it it's been a while! Thanks again, Jon |
