I'm just setting up a system and have a clicking sound with playback on
Cakewalk sonar 4 pro. I want to record through USB and playbalck on my regular 5.1 speakers so I don't see why my sound card might be an issue. I don't want to run my MIDI stuff through a sound card I just want to play back through it. It's a C-Media sound card but could my problem be a setting in Cakewalk? I don't get the clicks when I play files in Reason 3.0 software? |

Nowhere near enough. what kind of click? is it rhythmic? is it random? Is it like a spitting sound? Does the click show up of as a spike in the wave display in Cakewalk? what type of processor in your PC? what kind of motherboard (how old) and what kind of chips are on the motherboard? (Intel? Via? Sis?) |
