Aside from the LP playing & Gilmours grandfatherly appearance, the tape
machines at the 1:50 point along with the Tom Scholz thread got me
wondering. First thought was it was merely for video effect like the
little stick fellow but... vbg

There was a bit of footage on British TV last night from his River
Thames-side studio. The camera passed a machine room that seemed to have
some strangely familiar mechanical devices in it.

By the way that little stick fellow is a trifle annoying, though I wouldn't
mind having David as my grandfather.

I think the stick figure is annoying, AND I wouldn't want David Gilmour
as my grandfather. How would you like having a grandfather who could
easily outplay your ass? Not me, no thanks, my self esteem is damaged
enough by all the little 16 year olds who can play their asses off!
