Default iPod Bluetooth transmitters

There are at least two of these gizmos on the market now, from Belkin:

And Logitech:

Both include a small transmitter that plugs into the headphone jack of the
iPod, and a larger receiver that connects to your audio system. This is a
coach potato device: You sit on the couch with your iPod, and you control
your stereo.

Anybody tried them out yet? I'm wondering what kind of compression they use
when they redigitize the audio.
