That's assuming there 'is' a low signal issue. If that's the case, I think the OP should look to his mixer, which 'should' be putting out adequate gain. ^^^^ Make that "level". It may be that the mixer is being operated properly but its nominal output level is -10 dBV while the cable company expects +4 dBu.
