It has been reported in the newspapaers, and many columnisits have commented upon it. Even other Democratic candidates have criticized the statement. What I failed to note earlier, is that your reference to "the Dean tape has been shown on the news many times." It was not shown in its entirety except on C-SPAN the day of the broadcast. I watched the C-SPAN live tape of Dean's Dec. 15 foreign policy address, and taped it. Since your comments below, I've reviewed it. It is 100% consistent with the official transcript of the Dean website you quoted, (and which I've quoted on two prior occasions, the first of which when it was first released immediately following the live broadcast) which does *not* contain *any* reference to any "permission" the United Nations. The Dean website did not include the Q&A. Your original claim never reverenced Q&A. It only referenced his speech, which is reproduced word for word on Dean's website. The quote came from the Q&A. Yet not one of the right-wing links you provided mentions this. And not one of the links references any context. So how would you know this? Does the C-SPAN tape inclyde the Q&A? The tape I made did not, as I cut it off after the speech, as I was rushed for time. So I neither saw nor taped the Q&A's, but I understand C-SPAN did cover the questions following the speech. The part I did see on the news showed him saying the words permission of the UN. Seeing it on the kind of news channels you watch is hardly a reliable source of information. Therefore, every reference you provided, is obviously and patently false, and since your first reference was to a Fox news smear, it's highly likely that your other news sources listed picked up variations on this smear. Given the disgusting level of journalistic integrity at large in America today, this is hardly surprising. The Dean website did not include the Q&A. The quote came from the Q&A. You're repeating yourself. See above. You've quoted a number of libelous stories. Under the law of libel, anyone who repeats such libelous stories, is also guilty of libel. That means you too, Wormtongue. The Dean website did not include the Q&A. The quote came form the Q&A. Have Mr. Dean sue me!!! You're repeating yourself. See above. Hardly surprising given your history this year of falling into the snakepit of Arnii Krooger, Scott W., Michael McKelvy, Geosinch, and Pajamarama and revealing your true colors. Quite an illustrious caste of RAO characters you associate yourself with, Wormtongue. Your mom must be rolling in her grave by now. And your dad would undoubtedly be thoroughly distgusted and ashamed of you if he knew what you were up to. And your legal clients would be ashamed of your behavior, if you had any legal clients. My legal clients have always been quite pleased with my work, thank you. |
