Default what's the word on Pyramid power amps

currently i have a Pyle PT600A. it does what it does, but the headphone channel is horrible. the level low and when i turn it up i get
distortion in my headphones. basically i'm looking at a Pyramid with the hopes that the headphone out provides better sound than this Pyle
joint. specifically, i'm looking at the Pyramid PA1000X or PA1800X. any advice, suggestion and/or recommends would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Pyle once was a respected speaker manufacturer, or at least I thought so.
Today the name means to me, bottom of the line. Perhaps
they still make some good products. Pyramid and Pyle mean about the same thing
today. I did once buy some repair parts from Sound Around, Pyramids maker.
I can't find the web site now, perhaps its not there or hidden. That would
make it hard to order repair parts.

that said, for essentially a DJ type small setup, what brand and model power
amp w/a headphone out would you suggest?

Amps don't usually have headphone outputs, and for good reasons.
Vertually all mixers have headphone output. DJ small setup
does not tell much. Small, perhaps you mean not too loud??
The headphnes you use can also be tapped from the output, which
is usually what they do anyway. You can come up with a better
attenuator than the one inside. I seriously doubt if it has a separate
headphone driver inside a power amp. Not sure about the specs
on your amp. Not listed on Pyle home page, but there are sure a bunch
of people selling these things.
