I am trying to get more bottom-end chest thumping fun from my Yamaha
DTXtremeII electronic drums - what I have available to use at the mo is: dB Technologies Opera 212 active cab Ohm Technologies 18" 4R driver (700W) Yamaha P2500S power amp (1300W to 4R bridged) What I'm thinking of is: 1) Active crossover to split signal between Opera 212 (high) & Yamaha P2500S (low) 2) build/buy 2nd hand cab to mount the driver to run off the P2500S Will I need any circuitry to use the driver or will I be fine just to stick a speakon in the wall of the cab? Any other useful thoughts welcome. Thanks Eddie |
