Just wanted to say I'm not choosing sides in this train wreck
of a newsgroup. I've been staying out of most of the threads up to
this point. I only made the comment I did because Krueger's request
for an obituary came so soon after the thread I started about the
foolishness of "proof" on Usenet. It was such a glaring example of
what I've experienced all over Usenet that I jumped in.
Since the concept of "proof" in so untenable on Usenet, I try
to take everything with a grain of salt. Arny's been helpful in
explaining some technical concepts to me, and I thanked him for it.
He made what I think anyone would consider a wildly unreasonable
request of Marc, so I commented on that as well.
I don't have any vested interest in anyone's cause here - and
that's how I like it.

I don't remember that one but he did say that my wife and whatever children I
have (personal info I have not disclosed for obvious reasons) were prostitutes
and I was their pimp. I wonder what a jury will think is an appropriate
punishment for that given the fact that he said all those things after being
sued for libel. Keep in mind this will all go in front of a judge and jury that
haven't been desensitized to Arny yet.

Not that I know of. He has been served the notice of damages. He should get it
next week. I will be filing for the default next week as well.

Nice way of putting it. It's easy to lose track of how many people
have been appalled the first time they see Turdy in action. Like
today, when he tore into Gardner for no reason.
