Default Recording in Soundforge with EMU-1820

I've been recording in soundforge for years using soundblaster soundcards
and know the routine of bringing up the recording properties of the volume
control to select the input to record. I now own an Emu-1820 and it works
great using the ASIO drivers to multitrack record in Sonar 4, however i cant
figure out for the life of me how to select an input device and assign it to
record into soundforge! The sound icon doesnt offer any recording options so
i bring up the patchmix DSP and i still see no options to select a recording
input.
I'm assuming its a driver issue in that Sound Forge doesnt support ASIO
recording. Hopefully i'm overlooking something and one of you pros' could
steer me in the right direction, i'd really appreciate it.

SF8 does ASIO. If you don't have that version, just install the regular
driver and use that - ASIO offers no benefit for 2-track recording.

Select the device in Options|Preferences|Audio. You should see all device
drivers (incl ASIO in 'SF8') in the 'Audio Device Type' drop-down box.
