I DO NOT KNOW what serial number range it applies to ( it has been
identified and presumably addressed in manufacture...) , but you can suck it
and see if you have the problem.

1). HF section will oscillate on power up if 'sheen' selected and HF gain
set to attenuate



2). There is a momentary burst of oscillation, manifesting itself as a very
loud click, when the LF peak is selected/deselected with LF frequency at or
near max



3). The HMF section goes into irrecoverable oscillation with high-level,
high-frequency signals, if HMF frequency set to max, HMF Q to min, X5
selected and some attenuation on the HMF gain control



Mods involve removing/replacing a few caps and resistors. Email me (or
better still Amek) for details. A doddle for anybody with average
electronic expertise - about 30 minutes work and a few $$$ of bits.
