I just purchased a HK t65c turntable at an estate sale. It will be a
few days before I can set it up and I have a few questions about this turntable that I hope can be answered by this newsgroup. Yes, I know this TT is midfi to you, but it will be the best turntable that I've ever owned ;-) 1)This TT wasn't powered up when I bought it, but it and acillary equipment was in a cabinet set up of the PO so I presume there is nothing gross wrong with it; it looks clean and cared for. 2)Is there anything troublesome about this TT I should know about? I do have the original owners manual 3) It has a Grado Black cart mounted. Any suggestions about a $150 replacement (midfi again!) that will be compatible with the TT? 4) It came the original HK interconnects. No model number and no direction arrows. Are these cables directional? Will these cables even be worth fooling with? |
