Does anyone know of an 8 channel ad/da converter that offers gain
control? I just recorded drums out of my Roland R-8 drum machine through my new digi 002 rack and came across a bit of a concern. When using 7 individual outs off the Roland, the three that go into inputs 5-7 on the digi don't have enough gain. I have them all swithed to -10 but they still aren't ideal. Since I want to come out of Pro tools to eventually mix analog, I figure I need 8 more DA channels anyway. So does anyone know of a converter that will give me at least 4 more gain controlled inputs for say less than a grand? If this has been discussed already I'd love to get the link. Thanks. |

Behringer ADA8000 for $229 is by far the cheapest solution. Predrag |
