Can I use this deck to record and playback without a pre-amp?
Like maybe a headset or through the input jacks of a PC soundcard? Sam |

For playback you don't need a preamp but you may need a headphone
amplifier for headphones unless the deck has a headphone jack. The deck will work fine if you run it into the line input on your soundcard. You can record the output from your soundcard to your deck but if you use a microphone or unamplified turntable you will need a suitable preamp. |
