Hi, I just bought a usb mixer by Alesis. I comes with Cubase LE which
wont install on my mac powerbook or g5. No help from Alesis. They say the the authorization code on the disk is the same as a serial number. Still doesn't work but jeesh.. Cubass doesn't seem to exist on the web only faqs and user messages that have the same problem I do and no one answers. So I don't want to invest any time in Cubase. I own Bias Peak that I bought to chop up and eq my recordings. I have discovered that it will also handle the recording step. Is there something I'm missing? Why do I need Bias Deck or what ever. Peak seems to do it, but I am very green about all of this. I am only recording the two tracks that the usb sends. thanks Steve |

Deck is multitrack up to 64 or something. Mike http://www.mmeproductions.com |

You only need Deck if you want to do complex mixes of more than two tracks. I personally get along fine with Peak as my primary audio editor. |
