Does anyone know a supplier for aluminum bars that fit in a grand piano
and allow the lid to close. They have spots for microphones to mount on. LC |

There was a company called Slider that made an adjutable length mic mount that would span the inside of a grand piano and allow you to position two mics anywhere along this mount. See http://www.digitalprosound.com/Image...rBarre_700.jpg I think the mics could be underhung, which would allow you to close the lid, but that would limit the size & angle of the mics you used. Better to mount the mics on top of the bar, but then of course you can't close the lid. It's all moot anyway; apparently Slider no longer makes (or sells) that product |
