Saw this on Macintouch this morning:
----- http://www.sonicstudio.com/products/ddp1.html Sonic Studio LLC announced SonicStudio*DDP v2, a premastering utility that can open, play back, edit, and save the DDP (Disc Description Protocol) files commonly used for CD metadata at mastering facilities and music labels. It offers PQ editing, playback through CoreAudio, Red Book compatible PMCD masters, standard DDP v2 image file sets, burning of audiophile reference compact discs at 1x, and more. SonicStudio*DDP is available for Mac OS X 10.3 with a G4 or G5 through authorized resellers. -- ha |

In article .com,

More money and more function than DDP. It will be announced at AES Barcelona, and ship 30-60 days later most likely. DDP is still well under a grand. $500 I think. -- Jay Frigoletto Mastersuite www.promastering.com |
