I need a reel motor for a Tascam TSR-80. Anyone have a TSR-80 laying
around that could be stripped for parts? Any replies much appreciated. Thanks, Alan |

It appears to be the same part as used in the BR-20. Any replies much appreciated. It appears to be the same part as used in the BR-20. Sorry. I'm an idiot. Yes, it's the TSR-8. I recently gave away an old TRS-80 computer and the wires in my brain got crossed up. Thanks for the tip on the BR-20. I'll look into that. Alan |

There's no model information on either the machine itself or the manual beyond TSR-8. So I do not know. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know the difference between Models I, II, 3, 4. It's serial number 250056 if that means anything. |

I spent the first several years of my programming career sitting in front of a Model II. |

As long as the armature is good, there's no reason not to rebuild the old motor. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra. C'est suisse, et tres, tres precis." |
