The whole idea, is so people can get away with not running wires, and
still get the high wattage associated with todays surround sound systems, But still get the sound quality desired in home entertainment audio. Face it, todays wireless surround sound is about 20 watts x 2. IF you purchased an entire system, you could get as much as 50 watts x 2... but you use their equipment. However, this 'virtual wire' would be able to deliver more than 4x CD quality, to your existing speakers, at 160 watts of power. - do you think their would be a market? |
