I'm using Cool Edit Pro. When ever I save a multi-track mixdown, I get
about a 1/4 second burst of noise at the first of the audio. I can edit the mixdown file and cut out the burst and save it and it's fine. Only happens during the mixdown. I'm saving as an mp3. Any suggestions? |

I've seen this. It was a while ago, but I think the solution was in the
Options / Device Order settings. Make sure wave mapper is NOT selected. Instead select the name of the actual sound device you want to record from and only that device is selected.
