I saw Jim Gamble at his booth at the AES show last Fall. He was
standing in front of a computer screen. I asked him if that was
today's Gamble console and he said "Yup. No need to carry those big
things around any more."

I spoke with him there as well--hadn't seen him in maybe 15 years.



Gamble consoles were right up there with Midas in their day. The one
you had on your tour depended on what kind of console snob you were.

And both caused similar herniation of the loadin crew.
