Default Looking for 8-channel line-level fader box

I'm looking for a fader box to control eight balanced analog audio lines. We
need to provide level controls for 8 channels from PC DACs to powered
loudspeakers. I've found that ATI makes something close (MLA-800-1), but it has
rotary pots that are intended for screwdriver adjustment, although they do have
extension shafts that allow finger adjustment.

We used to use custom 4-channel fader boxes for this. Does anyone know of a
current product that will serve this function?

Thanks.

Jay,

I was looking for an 8-channel line-mixer using faders about 4 years ago
and posted something on RAP asking for suggestions. You should be able
to check the Google archive and find it.

At the time, I was considering the Oram OctaFade, but thought I should
be able to find something simpler and cheaper but still high quality.
Most people suggested boxes costing even more. My budget was around
$1,000-$1,500. Long story short, I couldn't really find the right
product. I ended up giving up; for that and other reasons I sold my
8-track (not your situation I know) and just decided to mix in the
computer or elsewhere at a real studio.

Cheers,

How about something like the Oz Audio Qmix :
http://www.ozaudiopro.com/products_hm6.htm

If has more features than you need and is shy a couple channels but take a
look at the other products out there for monitor mixes. Maybe a step in the
right direction?

Best of luck!

I'd think the Great River custom shop a fine source for something like
that.
