Default yorkville's power adapter

I've been lurking for too long in this newsgroup, and I'm planning to
get a pair of yorkville's ysm1p monitors but can't find any online
dealer in europe.

Anyone knows about an online shop in europe which sells them?
If i get them from usa, will i have to change the power connection or
have they got the option of running with 220v?

thanks in advance.

You'd probably have to use a step-down transformer.

Why not contact the manufacturer directly?

ok.

i prefer asking final users than manufacturers, as i know from posts
that there are several yorkville owners in the group.

The label on the back says:
120VAC 60 Hz 0.5A
CE 230VAC 50Hz 0.3A

So, you need no adaptor or transformer, the power supply is designed
for 110 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. The power connector is the standard IEC
3-pin.

That's reasonable if you're looking for opinions, but when it comes to
details regarding worldwide distribution, the manufacturer would probably
give you the most up to date and complete information. Then there's the
problem with some online dealers and grey import. If you're buying new, you
want to be sure that the warranty on the product is valid.
