Question Here is a Microphone question

I have two Sennheiser MKH 805 Shotgun Mikes. I cannot find any spec sheets, pin info, or a pistol grip/wind screen anywhere, online or otherwise. These mikes are European(British) and were used in a broadcast studio there. Any ideas? (I already tried Sennheiser Spare Parts) Help!

You might want to ask your question in another newsgroup...
news:rec.arts.movies.production.sound where Sennheiser
shotgun mics are discussed regularly by people who own
and use them on a regular basis.

Sennheiser should have full docs on them, but the electronics are
identical to the MKH 105 and MKH 405 mikes, if they don't. They will
accept standard T-power and they will work fine in the Rycote grips
and screens. Just plug them into a Nagra and go.
