Yeah, after tooling at the "studio" specs, it seems like dbx is trying
to create a new market for these devices.

I would think that the only way this sort of thing would work is if your
monitors where perfectly linear to begin with, and if that were the
case, the last thing you'd want to do is put this device in front of them.

Then there is the extra A-D/D-A hit hit your signal will see...

Actually I think DBX is the one who is confused. As is Swee****er, who I
hear helped "program" the device. The Driverack studio is basically a
re-programmed DriveRack-PA, geared toward studio monitoring. I can't
can't, for the life of me, understand why anyone would want any of those
processes in their studio's monitoring chain. Compression? Graphic EQ?
