I seem to recall Don Keele had modded an MA2400 at one point when he was
reviewing loudspeakers for the old Audio magazine. I haven't had much
success finding anything, but that was a few years ago.

I've done some Macro tech and Power Base models. The mods included a
faster quad opamp and some capacitor changes. Care must be exersized as
these are tuned networks so bandwidth must be taken into consideration
to avoid amplifier instabilities.
