Hi All,
I've got an M160, an RE20 and an SM7. The RE20 and SM7 are on their way to me, I've never used them before. I'm going to record tenor and alto sax and trumpet playing soul/funk/acid jazz. I'd appreciate opinions on which mic is best suited which instrument. Thanks! |

I haven't played with SM7's at all but if I had one I would set it up and make a comparison. Richard H. Kuschel "I canna change the law of physics."-----Scotty |

I'd probably go with the M160 on the trumpet, the SM7 on the tenor, and the
RE20 on the alto kevin halpin |
