Please do.

Why would you need to ask, you wrote it didn't you?

Whatever letter it is to which you are referring, you didn't receive it
from me. Also, "Please do" doesn't constitute a question, you pig-headed
moron.

From the dictionary...

Please - If it is your desire or pleasure; if you please. Used in polite
*requests* (emphasis added)

Request - To express a desire for; ask for

Ghost - see Gary Sokolich

Gary Sokolich - A person of moderate to severe mental retardation having a
mental age of from three to seven years and generally being capable of some
degree of communication and performance of simple tasks under supervision.
The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now
considered offensive.

I think calling you an imbecile actually helps your reputation. It's not
like you have some highly regarded "accademic cridentials" or anything!

What are your credentials? What are your areas of expertise? Where did you
get your M.D. and/or Ph.D? Where did you do your residency or post-
doctoral work? When did you ever hold a faculty position at either a
medical school or university? What medical school and/or university

as references on your resume? Do you even have a resume that anyone not
having a Beavis & Butthead mentality would take seriously?

Your absurd, infantile posts would suggest that you didn't even graduate
from high school. Even if you did, you certainly haven't accomplished
anything of note, as any internet search engine will readily verify.
Your sole tallent and ability appers to be insulting people on the usenet.
The fact of the matter is that you are a jerk and a nobody. What you think
is irrelevant. For your sake I hope that your attorney has something more
substantive than your infantile argumet to present in front of a judge and
jury.

Gary,

I have hired some very good people with no more than a high school
education (for engineering work) and I have hired at least one very less
productive PHD for engineering work. Education is certainly important, but
its not everything.

I know you have some acoustics expertise. but I don't remember you having
any real DSP skills. Why are you posting on comp.dsp? I don't remember you
being so jaded and rude when you worked at Bruel & Kjaer (yes, I was there
at the same time).

Most of the time, comp.dspers are civil to each other. Since I know you
don't have a strong background in DSP, I suggest you use this forum to
listen, rather than berate others.

I don't know (or care) what your technical credentials or accomplishments
are, I wouldn't hire you because of your lack of social skills.

Gary,

If that is so, I would suggest that you lack the necessary skills for
assessing/juduging the technical competence of people that you hire.

Education is certainly

I don't think that any reasonable person would hold that education is
everything. Likewise, no reasonable person can deny that higher income and
greater opportunity are generally correlated with higher levels of
education. There are, of course, always exceptions.

I know you have some acoustics expertise. but I don't remember you
having any real DSP skills.

I don't remember you either. I have asked several of my ex-B&K colleagues,
who were around at the time, and no one seems to know you either.
Apparently you did not make a lasting impression with anyone at B&K.

Why are you posting on comp.dsp?

Jim Carr crossposted his childish comments to comp.disp. I simply posted
my reply to the newsgroups that he had selected.

I don't
remember you being so jaded and rude when you worked at Bruel & Kjaer

At that time my personal integrity and professional crededntials were not

I suggest that you either update yourself on what is really going on or
mind your own business.

I don't know (or care) what your technical credentials or

The people that I work for are interested solely in my technical expertise
and my demonstrated problem solving ability. They don't give a rat's ass
about your so-called social skills. I don't kiss anyone's ass for a job or
for a paycheck. Additionally, people get from me the same level of respect
that they give me. If you have a problem that requires social skills, then
by all means hire someone with the requisite social skills. On the other
hand, if you have a problem that requires certain technical expertise, I
suggest that you hire someone with the requisite technical expertise. To
do otherwise reflects poorly on your judgment and managerial skills.

Actually, that's incorrect as usual.

The original thread was started in comp.dsp by Randy Yates, who simply
wanted to wish others well. Bob Cain replied and added his Christmas
greetings. At that time Ghost popped a woody and replied. In the process he
added several other newsgroups. I didn't notice the other headers until
recently.

Just do a quick Google Groups search on Ghost to see what I mean. The guy is

What are your credentials?

I saved every gold star I ever got in grade school.

What are your areas of expertise?

Needling blowhards

Where did you get your M.D. and/or Ph.D?

From a diploma mill in Zimbabwe.

Where did you do your residency or post-doctoral work?

My brother's garage.

When did you ever hold a faculty position at either a medical school or

university?
When I was a professor there.

What medical school and/or university courses have you ever taught?

Introduction to Sarcasm.

What awards, fellowships and/or research grants have you ever received?

In college I was voted Most Likely to Aggravate an Imbecile

How many years of research experience do you have?

About a week.

How many years of consulting experience do you have?

Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. Those who can't teach, consult.

What nationally-advertised seminars have you ever given?

"Ignorant Imbeciles - Why we can't stop loving them"

How many companies do you have consulting agreements with?

Far more than those with which I have consulting disagreements.

When was it that you were offered a research position at Bell Labs?

Right after they realized their mistake of hiring Gary Sokolilch.

How many papers have you published?

I used to deliver The Washington Post. Does that count?

How many patents do you have?

They are all pending.

How many MD's and/or Ph.D's do you have listed as references on your

resume?
As many as will fit.

Do you even have a resume that anyone not having a Beavis & Butthead

You think Beavis and Butthead would take *any* resume seriously? What a
maroon.

Argumet? Isn't that a French sauce you put on snails?

with the requisite social skills. On the other hand, if you have a
problem that requires certain technical expertise, I suggest that you
hire someone with the requisite technical expertise. To do otherwise
reflects poorly on your judgment and managerial skills.

When I refer to social skills, I am referring to your ability to get
along with your coworkers. I hire people for their technical skills
first, but I also spend time with them.

If you think you have a monopoly on smarts or accomplishments, you
must live in a very small world.

Yhe next time that you have a technical problem that you need help with, I
suggest that you should engage the services of the likes of Porky, Jim Carr
and Bob Cain. And when they fail to meet your expectaitons, you can call
me and I will tell you politely to kiss my ass and to find someone else.

In light of the above mindless, childish reply, you are a self-proclaimed,
mindless, and idiotic jackass, and no further comments from me are
necessary.

I'm not sure any comments of yours have *ever* been necessary, but it's good
to hear that you will finally be shutting up.

Do you even have a resume that anyone not having a Beavis & Butthead

mentality would take seriously?
You think Beavis and Butthead would take *any* resume seriously? What a
maroon.

For your sake I hope that your attorney has something more
substantive than your infantile argumet to present in front of a judge

and
jury.

Argumet? Isn't that a French sauce you put on snails?

*ROFLMAO*!!! That has to be the best consecutive set of punchlines I've seen
in a while!!! I bow to the master. :-) .....But I thought that Argumet was a
snail sauce you put on the French....

So, that was like people who say " It goes without saying." who invariably
proceed to say it anyway?

FYI, there is no such thing as a *necessary* comment. The value of a
comment lies in its validity. Accordingly, your comments are neither valid
nor necessary. And, if you are waiting for me to shut up, don't hold your
breath.

Only if an obvious intellectual giant like yourself says that it is so.

It obviously doesn't take much to amuse a pig. Given all of the rolling
around that you have been doing recently in the swine pen, perhaps you
should take a dive in to the water traugh and wash yourslef off.
