At any rate, one of my favorite lp providers is Sundazed, their lp's cost 60% of a cd's cost. Besides that, the retailers wanted CDs. They had had enough of providing lots of storage space for LPs, together with the covers that needed protecting from the grubby-fingered hordes. CDs were just what they needed - irrespective of sound quality.
