Default Best plug-in bundle for Pro Tools LE?

I am looking to purchase some plug-ins for my G4 Pro Tools 6.7 system,
and would prefer not to spend more than $1600. My mixing skills are
intermediate, and my mastering skills are at a beginners level. I am
currently considering the following two options:

-Waves Platinum Bundle $1575

-Sony Oxford LE Bundle (Dynamics, EQ, Inflator) + Audio Ease Altiverb +
McDSP Analog Channel ($660 + $430 + $390 = $1480)

What do you guys think between the two? Any other
packages/combinations suggested? I am not set on the Analog Channel
for the second package and could substitute another plug-in in the
$400-600 range.

I believe the Universal Audio UAD-1 plug-in package requires a PCI slot
which my Powerbook does not have, so this is not an option without
considerable additional expense.

All prices quoted are from swee****er.com
Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

TC Electronic:
PowerCore FireWire ($1100) or PowerCore Compact ($700)

My understanding is that the Powercore plug-ins are VST, which Pro
Tools LE does not support.

With the VST-RTAS wrapper, you surely can use the Powercore, UAD-1, and
other VST format plugs.

-Waves Platinum Bundle $1575

There's your answer. While the Sony EQ is my favorite, and I am a big
fan of the McDSP stuff as well, the Platinum bundle includes all kinds
very useful tools that go beyond straightforward EQ/Dynamics/reverb.
They used to have a 2 week demo. If it's still available check it out.
As far as bang/buck goes, that one's hard to beat.

Waves offers some very handy stuff with great interfaces, but their filters
suck.

-Sony Oxford LE Bundle (Dynamics, EQ, Inflator) + Audio Ease Altiverb +
McDSP Analog Channel ($660 + $430 + $390 = $1480)

This bundle will be lighter on CPU, and the Oxford and McDSP filters are 10x
better than Waves.

Supposedly the Powercore will use the computer's(G4) processing and not
the DSP onboard if used with Pro Tools. Would be a little of a waste
then. Does not work like the UAD card with FXpansion.
