I'm looking for convincing-sounding and easy-to-use drum-sequencing software

ease-of-use.

Any suggestions/reviews would be greatly appreciated . . . thanks!

Not quite the answer you're after, but if you change platforms at some
stage - for use on a Mac, you can't go past DoggieBox

Just my 2c worth
