Hi,
I just got this head-ache to add to my list: Stop error: 0X0000009F DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (Windows 2000 Pro). It has something to do with drivers from software messing up the shut-down process. So now my computer hangs when it shuts down and I get the blue screen. I wouldn't mind completely re-installing Windows 2000. Which brings up 2 questions: 1)Would that fix the problem? 2)A number of the music software things I buy have a registration process that goes through the net and then creates an authorization for you. Would re-installing Windows cause my computer to "forget" my software registration numbers? |
