hello everyone,
i'm figuring out the airflow idea in my iso booth construction project. the intake vent is going to be ground level in the corner. i have three placement ideas for the exhaust vent: 1) the same wall as the intake, but diagonally up in the other corner 2) the center of the ceiling 3) the opposite wall/opposite corner ("completely diagonal") this is my question: sensitive microphones don't like wind. wind can even disturb the phase of a sound. so i think i should avoid option #3, even though it would provide the best convection. #2 would be easiest to build in this circumstance, and would provide "medium convection". #1 would disturb the air the least, but would have the least natural airflow since the intake and exhaust would be on the same wall. (i'm guessing air pressure would force a reasonable amount of air exchange regardless). so any opinions here? |

Never mind the airflow, figure out where to put the kill switch so you can conveniently turn the fans off when you're rolling. |

already have that solved. in fact have vari-speed aircontrol.
just trying to figure out the best form of convection for this situation. my mind is leaning toward the #2 option (ceiling). but i don't have any experience to substantiate this. |
