Hey guys-- can someone recommend a good external hard drive for mac os
x for use with pro tools; can be anywhere from 120-200 GB, but it has
to be firewire, cuz i have USB 1.1. Thanks--MAtt BRBR

Firewire Direct has a 200GB 7200 RPM drive for about $259 list, your price from
Pro-Tape $249. There are other varieties as well.

I would suggest looking at one of the NitroAV raids as well. We also have some
hot-swappable solutions.

We do ProTools as well - let me know if you need an upgrade. We are clearing
out our current inventory of 002s and 002 racks.
