Default Will Miho deserves a tofu burrito

I don't know Will Milo or what he deserves, but I once lived with a
woman who decided that tofu was the food of the future. While I like
tofu as prepared in Asian cuisine, I do not recommend lasagne made with
tofu in place of the ricotta. I'm pretty sure Will Milo doesn't
deserve this, although I may be wrong........

If the chef knows what they are doing, tofu works quite well for lasagne, cannelloni, etc. It even makes a credible chocolate mousse.

In inexperienced hands, it can be dreadful...

When i was young my mother made Cheesecake, usually a favourite of
mine, out of Tofu. It looked just like normal cheesecake, felt the same
as i cut a peice and put it on my fork.

The taste was one of the most foul, vile things that i have ever
experianced, I wouldn't wish such a thing on my worst enemy; and i get
the feeling Will would be a bit suspicious of a cheesecake arriving in
the mail from Canada.

burritos.

Me, I used to like tofu with ketschup on it when i was a little kid,
and hotdogs with kimchee....

This is the ideal woman. And you let her go?

No, you supplement the tofu with ricotta.

deserve this, although I may be wrong...... BRBR

You may be very very wrong.

My other half makes Tiramisu (and every other confection) totally from
scratch. From scratch, I mean, actually makes the Mascarpone from fresh
goat milk (local Navajo woman brings it) and tartaric acid. She even
makes chocolate from scratch.

She wanted to be a pastry chef and ended up doing chemical engineering,
go figure.

I guess I'm just bragging. She makes stuff with tofu, but tofu tiramisu
would never happen, it would be a crime to suggest it.

He used to have a girlfriend who wore tofu sandals; he let her go and
now he spends much of his time searching for quality footwear. But he
wouldn't know it if he bit it.

I dare you to try natto. I love the stuff, but like stinky cheeses,
it's obviously not something everybody likes.

maybe next AES we can have a natto-fest.

Love 'em. Can't get enough of 'em.

No, I get my tiramisu in Italy, & they just don't want to make them with tofu,
the food of the Gods.

Well that's just plain weird.

Right up there with the quality taste of rice cakes. Personally, I used
rice cakes to fill in the blank spots on my new patio retaining wall, and
they are hold up just fine! g

Some of us have! It defines the idea of why you would want to eat anything
that required you to dip your fingers into it in the first place! g
