I think that ones values should be non-contradictory. If it's not OK for
an individual to separate you from your property, it should not be OK for
government to do it.

Well, an individual can't compel you to pay taxes, and a government can.
An individual cannot put you in trial and sentence you to jail, but
a government can. An individual cannot comppel you to fight n a war,
and a government can.

Is there any point in rehashing all of this again?

Well, not after you just trapped yourself into a corner.

Delude yourself that that is the case, I simply don't want to go through it
all again. You know my feelings about the role of government and government
regulation and the use of force. I'm not going to change your mind and you
sure as hell aren't going to convince me that your viewpoint is the way to
go either. If you wish to discuss it off the NG and can restrain yourself
from ad hominem, I'm willing, but something tells me that is not the case.

I have no interest in talking to you about anything off group.
