I drive through there all the time,I just make sure the doors are locked in
my van (you never know when you will hit a red light and some crack head
jumps in your car).I have had 2 people try to jump in front of my car down
there years ago either trying to get insurance money or to kill
themselves,I'm not sure.It's a shame they don't exterminate the scum down
there ,as its such an incredible city.

A friend of mine is a cop down there and is full of harrowing stories.
I avoid downtown personally and never have gigs that take me down
there.
