Is there a way to drop a marker in an edit point in Cool Edit 2000?
FastEdit from Minnetonka Audio has a function in which you can find an edit point, press "M" to mark the spot, find the second edit point, press "M" to mark the spot, and then you can press Select and then Shift-Tab or Shift-BackTab to highlight the marked section. I don't see a way to do the same thing in Cool Edit, and unfortunately, FastEdit is somewhat of an orphan program that is quite quirky. Its developers did not do a good job making the transition to the 32-bit world. |
